I’m gonna start off this blog by saying that I was a pretty healthy young 37 , right now 38. I was a young 37-year-old mom. Mom who went on runs and worked out daily ate pretty good, healthy weight everything was good until…

August 6, 2021 it was a Friday like any other Friday I was up early making breakfast for everybody. School doesn’t start for another two weeks and we are all home. Summer 2021!
I am making pancakes and as some come off the griddle I go tell my eight-year-old son his pancakes are ready I start walking down the hallway and I start feeling dizzy dizzy is all I can say the whole house started to move and when I made it to the living room I couldn’t walk anymore I couldn’t hold myself up I fell on myself onto the floor I couldn’t use my arms I couldn’t use anything all I can doWas use my voice to voice text my husband who was in the bathroom.
“Help the room is spinning I can’t get up” is what I think I texted him or something like that
That whole weekend I thought it was vertigo I called my mom I told her I was just dizzy and I couldn’t walk I just felt like crap but after four or five days of constant feeling sick and throwing up my mom finally told me she had had enough of seeing me like this and I need to go to the hospital. What if it was something else something bigger … like a brain bleed!
A brain bleed I thought why would she even get that but she was right it was already August 10 Monday and I decided To go in to the emergency room or to the closest hospital nearby which is only a few blocks away from my neighborhood.
I honestly did not think anything of it I thought it was just vertigo and I was just needing to rest and I did I needed to rest. They proceeded to do a CAT scan there at the emergency room at the hospital and there they found that I had blood in my brain yes it was in fact a brain bleed they had to transfer me to a bigger hospital because there was nothing that they can do there for me. it had stopped bleeding on a it’s own luckily which is why I guess I kind of feel better but not even close to how I am. Or was .
Of course because of this Covid my husband could not go into the emergency with me or ride in the ambulance with me he proceeded to follow the ambulance that took me to a bigger hospital. There I had to get MRI scans, CAT scans, blood drawn, numerous studies where they finally realize it figured that I had a malformation of veins in my cerebellum which coctel balance mobility etc. That I had actually had what they called say a stroke caused by malformation a Veins that is in my brain who would’ve thought I would’ve never guessed. When , how , why I have these veins no one knows .
I’m a young mom, I have young kids my oldest is 12 my youngest is 4. This cannot be happening I have a husband who needs me kids are in school I stay home this cannot be happening I cannot be out of commission. This dizziness that I was feeling was not vertigo not what I thought at all.

Your hair, My hair, It’s something simple that most of us just overlook, it’s usually a hassle Whether we have straight hair and we wanna have curly hair, we have curly hair and we wanna have straight hair or it’s busy or it’s dry or it’s Damaged and just not the best maybe it’s good But you also know that it’s because you Spend a lot of time and money taking care of it and you tried products and you try another product and something works but not as great as it’s a last or works better that maybe it’s really expensive and it only last you a little while so you don’t splurge or maybe you’ve found the supermarket Stuff that works great but you know it’s not great for you. weather you’re struggling to just Look good or whether you’re trying to find Good products that you know aren’t gonna Be bad for you in the long run Or be bad for you when it comes to your wallet because we all know At the end of the day it’s probably the wallet where it counts.

I heard about this About 3 or 4 years ago I wanna say 2016 / 2017 I like many people 1st started seeing it on social media women talking about how amazing these products were. I asked my hairstylist about that and she said oh don’t even go near them they’re no good I tried them they didn’t work, so I didn’t about a year later I switch hair stylist cause I moved and I mentioned it to her. she told me the same thing didn’t work my friend did it and she said they were horrible, So I didn’t. Fast forward 2020Pandemic Stresses got me stressing skin isn’t looking great hair I needed to change I remembered that I had curls In high school and I wondered what happened to them. for the last 12 years I’ve been wearing my hair straight one because my curls just we’re never curly, so straight it was. I thought maybe my pregnancy and hormones had just changed my hair to being straight again. there was somewaves and semi curls, just wasn’t ever quite right. so for 12 years I Wore my hair straight plus my husband loved dark straight hair. 2020 comes and I remember my curly hair from when I was in high school so I decide To try these products out, why not, is the way I see it . I jumped in just a try the products but I didn’t wanna only get the 15% discount I thought why get 15 when I can get 30% so I went ahead and did the market partner option. what does that mean well that means that I became a franchise owner and was now able to sell these products online or in person. If it’s something that I wanted to do, 1st I knew I wanted to try the products. why was I gonna sell something that I wasn’t sure worked so here I was trying these products And the opportunity to make some money I thought why not I got 30 days let’s see what this is all about I immediately noticed Something was different in this shampoo and conditioner I’m not sure what it was. I just knew that my hair Felt different a good different, more moisturized different, more hydrated different, more bounce different, different just all around different I thought OK I didn’t use much shampoo because they recommended only a up to quarter size amount for my type of hair. Also I didn’t use a lot of conditioner when I was so used to using Gobs of it So that left me impressed I didn’t have many styling products as I didn’t buy the big business pack because again I didn’t wanna spend lots of money on something that I wasn’t just sure of so I only spent about $230 to invest.

You want to lose weight but just do not know where or how to start? Or maybe you do know how do start and what to do but you have never relay kept it off for a long time. Do you maybe yoyo up and down? We have all been there at one point or another. All though there are many reason why we struggle I think the main reason is Consistency. We need to make sure we make it about how we live our life. What I mean is the way you have been living.Not to sound harsh but you have been living a fat girls lifestyle. Or a skinny fat girl life style for all those girls out there size 6-8 who look good but don’t look GOOD you know the skinny fat who are thing but soft around the tummy or arms and legs. we all hate this reading of oh hey I look good in jeans but I hate my naked body. How about you love your nakedness it’s who you are. And I am not saying you are ugly at all, all women are beautiful especially when they are happy in their skin. But are you truly happy? I know I was not. I have been the skinny fat girl size 6-8 I have been the chubby girl size 14 and yes that is not a big size relative to other sizes but it was my AHA moment where I was like “no way I am going to go up another pant size and there is no way I am going to see a 2 in front of a number on the scale.”
I love love love food I always have and for me that is the hardest part as I think it is for most. Although workouts are also not fun. Oh I wish how I could sit and eat anything I want for ever and look amazing naked with a tight ASS and a flat stomach where muffin tops are not existent and my boobs are on point. hahah the boob days are definitely over after having 4 nursing babies. Only thing to fix that is a boob job which is a whole other topic. but I can do something about my ass without getting the BBL and I can also do something about my Belly. No I do not want to be over toned or a body builder that is not my dream body. I think I have an attainable body look. I have an ideal of what I want and I am done thinking that it is genetics that I have not but to that I have all my fat in my tummy. Yes that is genetics where we store fat but what is not genetic is what we look like when we actually try to care for our bodies and how we look when we watch what we eat and actually stop the out of control addiction to sugar we have. And addiction to processed carbs and no regard to veggies and fruit. and protein and good fats.
Let us start by moving. Let’s move from one lifestyle to the other. Let’s make our lifestyle change our bodies, let’s start from with in from the nitty gritty from the food that nourishes our bodies. I promise that when you make this change you will feel amazing. Yes working out is where you will see a physical transformation where your muscles will get toned and strong and yes you will lose weight and burn fat yes yes yes. however I say start with the food start eliminating things you know are not the best for you like the late night sugar binges of ice cream and Oreos. Oh wow that sounds good. Ha I struggle too and I even some days give in and have myself a treat and eat the Nutty Coconut Ice Cream from Baskin Robins yes I do that too but I do not do it for weeks and months on end any more. I have some and then I don’t buy It again for 6 months or more why cause I am only human and I will eat it all. It is delicious.
I will make a special Keto version of this one day. But until then I need to stay away. It is really sad that most of the consumerism done is for sugary foods and processed food. This as a society has to change I think since the 50s or so when sugar and processed foods really came to market is when obesity began to be a thing. Food manufacturers know ow addicting foods can be and they use that to their money making advantage. they dont care about you and your body. We need to care for our bodies and realize that the reasons we can not stop is not because it is that delicious it is because in reality we are addicted to these foods they make out minds feel things like endorphins that we get from eating sugar. But only because we are addicted yes you are addicted to these foods and so was I. I never know if but my body was asking me for the sugary carb filled foods that would fill me up quickly only to be consumed by my body for energy only to quickly give out and needing more to keep going. This is a vicious cycle never ending if we don’t put a stop to it. Really it’s just knowledge of what goes in how it is used and how we feel afterwards. I am hear to help you understand see and make changes. Changes that make you happy in your new lifestyle changes that feel right not like you are depriving your self just to be skinny. No we do not want that, we want to feel amazing and look amazing too. We want to have freedom of low what to eat and not needing the other things but having them to enjoy them. Having a Fit life. What does that look like? That journey to keeping it fit for most is a long one. Some struggle more than others. Is it Genetics, or just hard work put in everyday? Here is my journey and here is what I have learned.
As many of us out there, women, moms, really just people in general, we all have different things or products we buy.We buy them usually because we believe in them we trust them and we think they are good for us. Most of us, we stick to same thing for many years. Many times we have a few different brands or products we like to switch through or shuffle them. Well I am no different. I am always changing thoughts ideas or just learning something new the make me want to change something to better the way I do things or feel.
Think of losing weight as going up a flight of steps. You must take the steps if you want to get where you are going. In today’s intro to my workout I talk a little bit about what steps you must take in order to make changes in your life. We have to learn to take care of our bodies. Not just fill them with food only yummy tasting food. It is only yummy because you have trained or addicted your body into thinking ‘this is what is delicious.’ Sugar is only delicious because your body is craving it or needing it. Just imagine reaching the step where you taste a sugary cupcake and immediately your taste buds and brain sensor are like Whoa! that’s too much sugar. Just imagine not feeling the need for a chocolate cake or actually having some delicious chocolate cake with Zero sugar. Yes that is the goal why because too much sugar is not good because we have to see sugar as a sort of drug we have gotten our bodies dependent of.
But wait lets not get to ahead of our selves. First lets begin with movement if you are not moving at all lets start to stretch.

Lately with all of this corona virus Cover 19 I have seen more and more people making sour dough bread. I am so happy to see so many who have gotten on the wagon. I was given a sour dough starter a few years back and have been making bread ever since. I was 30 something years old when I found out you could feed something to grow for you to make bread into. What? so here is my process maybe I will inspire you to make some or you can go to my shop and I will send it from my kitchen straight to your table. With some shipping days in there of course. I mean I’m not magical after all.
This recipe is called the friendship bread. Why? well it is said to be passed down or given to you by a friend. So if you use this recipes or buy the bread from me we will be considered friends. sound good? ok good.
What do you feed say starter and why does it eat. Well you feed it starch and sugar. Ugh I know sugar. Well as for me I do not eat a lot of this bread because I am Low card and try to stay away as much as I can. I do sneak bite of the fresh loaves any chance I get. However my kids are are no said lifestyle and they love my home made bread. My husband will do a walk by and take big chunks out of a fresh loaf. Usually it is half gone in the first 10 mins of it being out of oven.
